Why I Wrote a Book Helping Men With Texting

Many have asked how I got so good at 'texting', here is my very quick version of why and how it all happened.

Over the years i’ve been on a personal mission to master the art of ‘text messaging’.  

I don’t know why it started, but i’ve wanted to get better since I first got a cell phone my Junior year in high school (Good ol’ 2006).   

I quickly got worse results with women when I was texting them.  It was doing more harm than good.

Very long story short:

I went through 10 years of constant experiments with texting... trying to simplify the process but also trying to figure out why certain women would love certain things I would say.  

And others... just wouldn't even text me back.  

It was fascinating to me.

So in extreme summary:
I have figured it out.  My buddies have been asking for texting advice from me since college.  I even have been known to get dates for my friends by them handing me their phone to let me work my playful magic.

Elementary School Teacher? 

The past 5 years I have been an elementary school teacher.  This taught me so many different strategies of how to effectively communicate ideas to other human beings.  
It just made my dating advice for my friends even more effective.  
 
Many times I heard from friends that I should, “Be like Hitch” and coach men, or write a book about dating (if you haven't seen the movie Hitch, put it on your list to watch).

So finally I did.

It was a friends idea.  He literally said to me,
“Dude, you should run a school for texting”. 
Hahaha… little did he know that’s pretty much exactly what I would end up doing. 

Here is the bottom line: men are at a social disadvantage.

After working with all women for the past 5 years, the communication differences are just astronomical.  Us men... we just don't express ourselves to other men very often.  We don't seek advice about dating by other men very often.  Then when men DO finally ask for advice, 95% of the time it is advice that won't work.

Women play it smart.  They are constantly communication with and learning from each other.  They are social ninjas compared to the average guy.

Women have far more practice socially 
than the average man... that's why so
many men need to seek dating help

I'm here to even the playing field.  

Women: this is in no way any sort of war.  This is not a disadvantage to any women when men like me help other men become more attractive and confident.  It only sends more qualified men out in the dating pool for all the single ladies out there looking for their own Prince ; ).

This is a team effort, men and women working together to have some fun-filled, drama-reduced, head over heels affection for one another.
