Photos are your 'first impression' a woman gets of you on dating apps. Quite simply - if your photos aren't on point, you will be looked over by the women online.

This page will help you learn which photos are the RIGHT ones to help get you better quality matches online.

Select the Right Pictures for Better Matches

Pictures are incredibly important but it starts with the first impression which is your profile picture.  

Do not worry about any of your other photos until you have selected the right profile picture - because until that one 'works' women will continually say NO to you.  Which can be very frustrating for men on dating apps.

Profile Picture Guidelines :
Show Your Face / No Hiding / High Quality

These are the ESSENTIAL guidelines that you should make sure you are following.

Women have options so they will not waste unnecessary energy trying to 'guess' which guy you are in photos.

She won't play 'Where's Waldo' with you, she will just Swipe Left and move on.  

Make it clear who you are, and get a high-quality photo - not some poorly lit bathroom selfie.

Make Her Wonder / Show Empathy / Be Unique

These 'WOW' factors are a great way to stand out and 'boost' your chances.  I try to always have my profile picture meet at least 1 of these criteria.

The idea is that you want a woman to have to 'pause' from her swiping on dating apps when she sees your picture.

You want her to see your photo and it instantly makes some sort of small impact on her.

1) Make Her Stop and 'Wonder' 

Picture a woman swiping through 20+ profile pictures each time she logs on a dating app.

One of the ways to stand out with your profile picture is by making her wonder about it.

You want her to be intrigued and curious.  You want something that will be different than all of the last 20+ guys she just saw on the dating app.

It doesn't need to be ridiculous, but just enough to stop her in her tracks for a moment.

2) Show Empathy or Compassion

Another way to stand out is to basically make a woman go "Awwwwww :)" as she sees your photo.

You can do this by showing a 'softer side' by having a photo with an animal (the cuter the better, think kitten or puppy)

You can do this by having a photo with old people
(a grandparent or older parent/relative)

And last by a picture with children - although this works better if it's a niece/nephew not necessarily your OWN kids (because that's a different burden for women)

3) Make Her Laugh / Show Uniqueness

The 3rd way to stand out is to make a woman laugh when she sees your photo, or to immediately categorize you as 'unique'.

The important part here is balance.  IF you do something like a funny photoshopped photo, only do ONE of them.

IF you are making a funny pose/face or wearing an interesting costume - only do ONE photo of it.  Doing 'too much' of this is overwhelming for her.

Remember - your profile picture is HUGE so if you aren't sure what types of photos are okay or which are NOT okay, you will be in a world of frustration when you are sitting around with very few or no matches online.

The profile picture is the money-maker - but what other types of photos should put on your profile?

You want different types of pictures, not ALL the same setting or ALL the same people in them.

Basically think about it like this, a woman should be able to scroll through JUST your pictures and be able to tell an interesting story about you and your life.

Pretend you are an author creating a 'picture book' of your life.  How would you make it interesting and engaging to the reader?

1) This girl is going through describing my photos... and this actually gives you a good mix of what types of photos to add to your profile.  They are all different but they tell little 'pieces' about me so she can create that 'story' from them.

2) Kirsten described my pictures while making a poem about it - because that is part of my 'challenge' or 'test' I have in my profile bio.  Remember GOOD pics and a GOOD bio = GREAT results.

Your Pictures Should Tell a Story

1) Lindsey here is following a 'challenge' I have where I gave her a certain requirement of what her first message should be.  Again part of the profile bio challenge we will learn about.

2) She is able to tell quite a bit about my life just from my pictures.  A teacher, a Vikings fan, an animal lover (kittens).  

And remember that profile picture WOW factor?  That is what she is referring to because my profile picture had me with a kitten.  

Your Pictures Should Tell a Story

1) Mariyah is again referring to my profile bio challenge.  

2) She mentions the Kitten (WOW factor) and mentions Golf (a hobby of mine).  

This is a reminder that your pictures should serve a purpose and the better you get at learning what types of pictures women find attractive (I break this down in the Swipe Right program inside the VIP membership)

The more women will be able to use your pictures as an excuse to message you or keep conversations going that would have otherwise died out.
