Never BeLIEve what she SAYS

Never Believe What She Says 

When I first heard this, I was skeptical.  I thought it was a pretty bitter outlook to just think that women always lie and you should never believe what she says.

BUT - here is where my mindset evolved.

I started to understand WHY as a man we cannot and should not believe all the words that come out of a woman's mouth. 

Here's the deal...

It's all about communication style.  

As men we are taught to be honest and straightforward

Take the 'morality' out of it for a moment, just think about it, as men we pride ourselves on 'our word is our bond'.

So as a man, if you cannot be trusted, you are known to be a liar, or you are known to deceive, then you lose out on a ton of respect from other men.

As a man, to be trustworthy and honest is everything.  Other men will want to work with you, do business deals with you, and want you to succeed.

It makes sense that us men are praised for being straightforward and honest.

Women Care about Context not Content

Remember - think of women communicating like an iceberg... where what she SAYS (the actual content) is only of about 10% of importance.

What she MEANS (the context) is of about 90% of importance.

For example, the content of what a woman says is far less important to her than her body language, her facial expressions, her voice tonality and inflection...

THOSE things play way more importance to her than the dull words she actually speaks.

But to men... remember it's virtually opposite.

So when we say to NEVER believe her words, it's for a very specific reason.

It is simply understanding that men and women communicate completely differently - and in the dating or romance game if you don't understand that you will be PLAYED.
