How To Recover When Your Online Dating Conversation Gets Dull

When messaging women online, there are times when the conversation becomes a little dull.  

It may not always LOOK that way, but whenever you get to a point in your messaging where you think,    "Ah, what am I going to say next?" 

That is what I mean by 'dull'... where the conversation starts to falter just a bit.

So how do you recover?

At the top of this message, her response left
me with a, "Okay, what do I say now?"

I never like to force a conversation - so this is always the point when I try to spice up the conversation and send it in a new direction.  

Look what I said next (my message next to the arrow)

"I have a secret for you Christa"

The key with that line is that I left her wondering and anticipating.  

How to make this work for you

The key is to keep her in suspense.  

If I would have just flat out said "I have a crush on you" it may have come across as too forward.  

But by sending that text to build the suspense first, THEN it became a change of pace fun and flirty little text to send.   

She actually started the conversation AGAIN by telling me "Happy Tuesday".  

Because I was so forward and flirty with her, it was important that I backed off and didn't get too mushy-gushy (remember, I JUST met her online so giving her space is important).  

The mix of flirty + giving her space gave her a fun little chase, which is why she sent me those 3 messages in a row.

At this point I knew she was interested enough in me to get her phone number. Another thing I like to do is to play the card of, "I'm not good at checking this, you should text me".

This does 2 things:

1) It helps her feel at ease knowing that I am not a guy that is going to constantly be texting her in case she decides she isn't interested

2) It gives me more information. If I give her my number, now if she DOESN'T text me, then I just saved myself time by learning that she wasn't all that interested in me. If she does text me, then I can follow the Prince-iples of Texting and start our texting conversations off right.

She texted me - and as of right now, I am totally crushing on this girl.

She is cute, fun, and INTERESTED in me which is always more fun than trying to force a conversation with a woman that isn't interested.
