A New Approach To Online Dating

The challenge of dating is one of the most fun puzzles to solve.  If you are looking for a new way to attract a woman online or through text messaging, this article will show you a different approach to flirting with women online.  You will see how 3 well timed GIF messages (basically animated photos) was able to score me a phone number… which eventually turned into a date… which turned into a great night ;).

Although every situation with a woman is different, there are usually moments in a conversation online where sending a perfect message can speed up the process of making a woman feel comfortable with you.  In this case, sending GIF messages was able to show my playful personality much quicker to Rachel, which made her feel comfortable enough to text me.

This screenshot shown is the first message that Rachel sent me on Bumble (a dating app where women must message men first, men use this to your advantage!).

Rachel started by sending me a GIF message (basically an animated photo) of a bear saying ‘Hello!’ as her opening line.

*Tip* Every woman is different so pay attention to the way she communicates with you: I don’t normally respond with a GIF… but following Texting Prince-iple #2 – Mirror Texting I took her opening GIF as a sign that this may be a fun way she likes to interact.

I sent a GIF back of a boy waving back.

She came back with a GIF that said, “What’s Poppin?”.

*Note* this conversation was going nowhere in my opinion. It was starting to get to the same boring “How are you doing” small talk… which I get bored of quick – so this is the turning point of the conversation. This is where I showed that I have balls and am playful all in the same message.

I sent a GIF from the old show Boy Meets World saying: 
“Would you be my girlfriend?”.  

She replied with “The answer is yes”.  

At this point I knew she was interested enough that I could get the phone number (it’s always good to get the number soon when you know how to keep her interested through texting).  Now I capitalized on her response by going with a GIF of a girl with a phone in her hand and I sent 
“Text me girlfriend" with my phone number.

*Dating Tip* Notice how I gave my number and said ‘text me’.  
Not… “Hey if you get bored later you can text me”. 
I gave her a confident statement… not a weak question.

Recap:  A photo can show a lot more than a text because the photos that I picked helped show my playful side which helped her feel comfortable with me.  It gave her part of my personality – something that words take longer to show her normally.
